Scout Hike is an annual, state-wide hiking event for between 200 and 500 scouts. In 2013 it's going to be held in the Tallarook State Forest.

Ra (Roger) has offered to accompany a Learner patrol made up of Belmont Scouts. Being part of a learner patrol allows an introduction to hiking and lightweight camping for those scouts who have little or no experience.

Patrol size is going to be between 4 and 7 scouts - first in, best dressed!! You'll find heaps more information on this website: - check the relevant links leading away from the main page also.

Transport will be organised once the patrol is established.

Deadline: Tuesday 23rd April. Express your interest to Ra ( and make your payment of $40 per scout to the Belmont Scouts bank account. Date of payment will be used to determine order of booking.
